About Krylon^®

Howard E. Kester, a Philadelphia businessman, transformed the paint industry in 1947 when he launched Krylon, Inc., the world’s first and biggest provider of aerosol paints.

Foster & Kester, a maker of brush-on transparent protective acrylic coatings used in the commercial art industry, originally produced Krylon® Products in 1947. Kester discovered a means to merge his coatings into a product that had numerous benefits over the brush-on approach – aerosol – after being inspired by the DuPont Corporation’s invention of a recipe that combined gas and liquid into a single spray can.

MRO INDUSTRIAL COATINGS

A superb industrial grade enamel paint developed for heavy-duty applications requiring the highest level of performance. This paint has good adhesion, resists rust and corrosion, and can withstand temperatures up to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.

TOUGH COAT

Tough Coat is a multi-purpose interior/exterior alkyd gloss enamel intended for new construction and industrial maintenance.

INDUSTRIAL PRIMER

Industrial Primer is a heavy-duty primer that provides excellent steel protection in typical industrial settings. This primer has a high solids content.

ALKYD SHOPCOAT PRIMER

Alkyd Shopcoat Primer is a heavy-duty, fast-drying primer that protects steel for up to 6 months in standard industrial settings.

This product is made of durable, sturdy plastic and lightweight steel. A pistol grip that is both comfortable and effective. A constant 1″ to 1-1/2″ width of paint is applied.
